Gelayol Fatemi grew up in an artistic and cultural family and was exposed to classical music from a young age. She began learning the piano at age eight and was fascinated by opera and classical music, finding music the best form of entertainment. Her passion for music remained strong throughout her school years and at her first university, where she studied engineering. After completing her initial university studies, she pursued her dream by attending the Tehran Conservatory. She profoundly loves working with children, feeling that this passion is intrinsic to her. She believes that teaching others is one of the most beautiful things in the world, as any form of education contributes to equipping the next generation for a better life, with art being an essential part of that.
Gelayol Fatemi's musical journey is a testament to her versatility and dedication. To some extent, she has learned various instruments, including Iranian instruments, violin, and guitar, but her heart has always belonged to the piano. Her studies at the Tehran Conservatory, where she earned degrees in music composition, international instruments, and music teaching, further enriched her musical expertise. As a professor in Turkey, she has received letters of appreciation and has successfully guided students who have been accepted into Turkish and Tehran conservatories. She has also prepared many students for various international exams, helping them achieve music degrees. Her most significant achievement is assisting students in growing and succeeding.
She acknowledges that she has learned from all her music professors, each of whom has been special to her, and it is not easy to pinpoint who has had the most significant impact. Different teachers in various locations have all been impressive and unique. Gelayol Fatemi's interest in teaching and learning stems from her belief that nurturing a wise and successful generation is one of the most beautiful pursuits. She feels the first step for any art lover is learning to enjoy and love art, which fosters a more profound appreciation. Considering the personalities of her c students, she strives to create an attractive and pleasant classroom environment, believing that enjoyment and a positive atmosphere are crucial for fostering a desire to learn.
