Bruce's Musical Journey
Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Bruce has been performing and playing music since the age of 12. It was at this age that Bruce began playing bass guitar and drums at his family's church. There, he cultivated his skills and passion for music. Bruce also grew up in a musical household, where he was able to hear a diverse playlist of music. The sounds of Hendrix, Santana, Funkadelic, Sly Stone, Pink Floyd, and more often echoed throughout the house. This only added to Bruce's musical development.
After graduating from high school, Bruce attended Anne Arundel Community College and majored in Music. While attending AACC, he played bass, guitar, and Afro/Latin percussion in bands and churches throughout DC, Maryland, and Virginia (DMV). During this time, Bruce also picked up teaching bass, guitar, and piano.
Bruce has now been been teaching students of all ages for nearly a decade. He has made Atlanta his home, and he looks forward to continue contributing to the growth of his local music community.
