Mark Pagnozzi was born in Australia and started his musical journey at a very young age, beginning piano lessons at age 4 and adding violin a year later. Soon afterward, he took up trumpet and vocal studies, for which he was awarded scholarships in his senior school years and the title of Music Captain in his final year.

Throughout his schooling years, Mark participated in every extracurricular music group he could, including school orchestras, bands and choirs. He also played for 10 years in the West Australian Youth Orchestra on both violin and trumpet, and for 5 years in the Australian Youth Orchestra program.

After studying for two years at the University of Western Australia, Mark received his Associate in Music diploma in violin from the AMEB. He then moved to Italy and completed his Bachelor's degree in Violin Performance at the Conservatorio di Musica E.F dall'Abaco, where he studied with Maestro Roberto Muttoni and graduated with honors in 2011. He went on to earn his Master's degree in 2014, graduating with highest honors (110 e lode) under the guidance of Maestro Alberto Martini.

In the 13 years he lived in Italy, Mark also formed the Americana/Irish folk duo The Aroostercrats, with whom he sang and played guitar, harmonica, and kick drum. The duo has released 2 albums and has performed all over Europe and the UK, including online platforms such as BalconyTV and Sofar Sounds. In 2019, they performed on the televised talent show "Italia's Got Talent."

Since 2013, Mark has taught lessons in violin, viola, trumpet, piano, acoustic guitar, voice, and music theory. Now, residing in the US, he continues to enjoy his teaching career, introducing new students to the world of music and helping other musicians to fine-tune and improve their skills.
