Voice, Piano
Erin Evans is a passionate and accomplished vocal coach and piano instructor originally from Albany, Georgia, whose musical journey began at the age of three when she sang in her local church choir. By the age of 12, she had expanded her talents to include the piano, taking formal lessons that would become the foundation of her lifelong love for music.
Throughout her school years, Erin was an active member of her school and high choirs, as well as a touring chorale group that performed up and down the East Coast from Atlanta to New York City. Highlights of her early performance career include singing at prestigious venues such as the White House, the U.S Capital, Times Square, and events for the Congressional Black Caucus. She has also had the honor of performing for notable figures, including President Jimmy Carter.
Erin earned her Bachelor of Arts in Music with a concentration in Voice from Albany State University. Her vocal versatility has taken her to numerous stages, both large and small, where she performs at weddings, concerts, and events across multiple genres, including gospel, R&B, and classical music. She has provided background vocals for American Idol winner Fantasia Barrino and has been featured on several recordings with both local artists and national celebrities based in Atlanta, Georgia. Inspired by her high school music teacher, Mark Butler, who helped her discover her voice and classical and other musical styles, Erin found her calling in education. His mentorship motivated her to pursue a career as a music educator, dedicated to guiding the next generation of vocalists and pianists.
As a teacher, Erin brings both experience and heart to every lesson. Her mission is to instill confidence, discipline, and passion in her students. She firmly believes that with dedication, consistent practice, and wholehearted effort, any aspiring musician can achieve their dreams. Erin is committed to nurturing not just skilled performers but well-rounded artists ready to share their gifts with the world.
