Born in Warner Robins, Georgia, tenor Kamron Glover is an active performer and educator. He has performed various roles, including King Kaspar in Amahl and the Night Visitors with the Southern Opera and Musical Theatre Company, Babolet in The Lantern Marriage with the Alabama School of the Arts, Sam Kaplan in Street Scene with Georgia Southern Opera Theater, and Gherardo in Gianni Schicchi with Moon River Opera. Kamron also performed the role of Willie Stroker in the United States premiere of Choir Practice by Stephen Chatman.
Mr. Glover has participated in Young Artist programs, including the International Performing Arts Institute in 2022 and the Kansas City Vocal Arts Intensive in 2023. He was also a student participant for the 2020 and 2021 NATS Internship Program. For the 2023-2024 season, Kamron joined Opera Mississippi as a member of the Young Artist program, where he sang the role of First Priest and covered Tamino in the mainstage production of The Magic Flute and performed as Tamino in the touring children's production.
Kamron earned his Bachelor of Music degree from Valdosta State University, where he studied under the guidance of Dr. Carol Mikkelsen. He went on to complete his Master of Music at the Fred and Dinah Gretsch School of Music at Georgia Southern University, studying with Dr. Kyle Hancock and Dr. Arikka Gregory. Throughout his academic training, Kamron developed a strong foundation in both vocal performance and stagecraft, which continues to inform his work today. He is currently based in Atlanta, where he maintains an active career as a freelance performer, voice teacher, and acting coach, working with students and artists of all levels to develop their craft and artistic expression.
