Piano
Starting at the age of five, Callie Tucciarone became fixated by learning how the piano created sound and experimenting with the keys and pedals. She began studying piano and discovering more about the versatility of the instrument. Years later, that love of creating music led her to Georgia College and State University where she graduated with a Bachelors of Music Education degree in 2014.
Callie has been a pianist for churches, the recipient of two music scholarships, a leader in the women’s music fraternity Sigma Alpha Iota, and is a member of both the National Association for Music Education and the Georgia Music Educators Association. Currently, she works at an after-school program teaching elementary age students group music lessons.
“Music washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life” is Callie’s mantra: she aspires to make learning music an uplifting experience through expressing a positive attitude, using fun and age-appropriate materials, giving personal attention to the student’s needs, and displaying encouragement at each lesson.
