Adam Shavin is a seasoned musician and educator with a lifelong passion for the art of sound. His musical journey commenced at the age of 7 with the guitar, a skill that laid the foundation for a decade of immersive learning in various instruments such as bass, piano, and drums. After his high school years, Adam transitioned into the realm of education, sharing his profound knowledge by offering guitar lessons.
His pursuit of musical excellence led him to the esteemed Hartt School in Connecticut, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in 2016. During this period, Adam delved deep into music theory and history, honing his expertise and expanding his musical palette. As his undergraduate education drew to a close, he ventured into commissioned composition projects and contributed to visual art exhibitions, showcasing the breadth of his artistic versatility.
Adam has cemented his career around the six strings, whether captivating audiences as a soloist and improviser or guiding aspiring musicians through his teaching endeavors at the inception of their guitar journey. He continues to tickle the ivories and teaches piano students of all ages.
